Product Strategy Through Systems Thinking
Hey, Daniel here.
I’m a Product Manager. I built a music education platform from nothing, ran it as a real business, and shipped every layer of it myself.
Building it forced me to think across products as one connected system:
How to attract the right people, design an experience that creates meaningful change, and build a business model capable of sustaining that value over time.
That way of working became the foundation of Behavioral Systems Architecture.
Five years of building, plus work with 25+ early-stage startups across 12 countries, taught me that most growth problems are structural rather than execution failures.
Blues music taught me the same lesson from a different direction. Transformation needs the right structure, the right progression, feedback and enough time to let a system do its work.
That’s exactly how I think about products.
Featured Case Study:
Building a blues platform that turns learning into a daily musical habit
The Crossroads Blues Method
Every product decision was validated against real user behavior.
The constraints turned into a repeatable product methodology.
Key Outcomes:
• Validated paid demand across 6 countries with only $148.88 in ad spend
• Generated $6,240 in gross sales across 3 validation tests before building the product
• Designed and built a complete learning system solo in 90 days
• Built a Practice Toolkit that turns content into a daily musical habit, after user behavior revealed the real practice friction
Additional Work:
Redesign of piano education platform for engagement and course completion
ArtPlay Academy
Redesigned the product experience of an established piano education platform where growth had stalled, restoring engagement and driving measurable learning outcomes.
Key Outcomes:
• 60% increase in course completion and community engagement through gamification and behavioral design.
• Redesigned user journeys, platform economy, and product narrative to align the full student experience with business growth goals.
Behavioral-led retention and activation strategy for a high-ticket coaching platform
6 Figure Engineer
Led a behavioral diagnosis and product activation strategy to address a 75% churn rate in a high-ticket coaching program for LATAM software engineers.
Key Outcomes:
• Reduced churn by 45% through behavioral design and activation sequencing.
• Increased community engagement by 70% via habit-forming mechanics and strong onboarding flows.
• Designed loyalty and end-game progression mechanics that extended the student lifecycle beyond initial program completion.
Operational restructuring for a digital marketing agency to enable scalable growth
Transit of Pluto
The work was structural: remove bottlenecks, reposition the agency, and build a revenue layer that didn’t rely on trading time for money.
Key Outcomes:
• Systematized delivery workflows to remove founder dependency and make the operation scalable without adding headcount.
• Led the redesign of the agency website for owned client acquisition increasing inbound leads by 20%.
• Launched a new infoproducts revenue stream, diversifying revenue beyond client retainer services.
What others say about my work...
The gamification skills he brought to the table were very knowledgeable and exactly what I was looking for.
Daniel analysed our systems, improved the thought processes behind the platform and the "why we do what we do" as well as the "want to do" that our customers would be looking for."
He brings an impressive depth of marketing and user experience knowledge to each project.
What I love most is that Daniel is a constant learner who’s always striving to bring his best to the table.
That mindset makes him reliable and fun to collaborate with."
